With a grant from the San Francisco Arts Commission, local musician Dan Lee (Scrabbel, Aislers Set) wrote 6 songs with his hometown of San Francisco as the connecting theme. The songs were recorded in 2023 with the help of Yea Ming (Yea Ming and the Rumors), jazz musician Mike Olmos (trumpet), Sebastian Wang (Director of Korean Percussion at UMD), and Ami Miki Lee (piano). The music also incorporates ambient sounds unique to San Francisco. In a collage of archival footage, home movies, and current images of SF, this collection serves as a love letter to the City by the Bay.

The screening will also include a short live performance with special guests, and an intro and Q&A moderated by Stephen Gong (Executive Director at CAAM)
